Gun, bullet and honesty talk in the three-minute trailer

‘When honesty collides with hunger, it always loses. I was honest, but scared and hungry. The three-minute trailer of the web series ‘Bombay Meri Jaan’ sets a tempo with this dialogue. As the trailer progresses, you remember Dawood Ibrahim because he too was the son of a policeman. The plot of the series is set in the streets of fictional Bombay in the year 1970s. The son of a cop father turns to crime to get out of poverty. While his father chooses honesty. Two dialogues are worth noting in the trailer, where KK Menon’s character says that ‘I was honest, but Dara was hungry’. And ‘this is the fire of hell which will burn everyone to ashes’.

KK Menon said – Ismail Qadri character was not easy

KK Menon says, ‘My character Ismail Qadri is an honest policeman and a kind father who is not perfect. On the one hand, he is fighting to free the city of Bombay from crime, while on the other, he is forced to become a pawn of the city’s crime syndicate to save his family. The vision of the show’s creators Shujaat and Rensil for this character was so clear and precise that it became easy for me to play it.
