The city of Louisville in the US state of Kentucky has declared September 3 as Sanatan Dharma Divas. Now every year September 3 will be celebrated here as Sanatan Dharma Divas.

There has been a lot of uproar in India when a leader said things like ending Sanatan Dharma. Meanwhile, the religious flag of Sanatan Dharma is unfurling fast in America. The United States of America’s Kentucky state Louisville has announced to dedicate one day of the year to Sanatan Dharma, paving the way for global recognition of Sanatan Dharma. Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg has declared September 3 as Sanatan Dharma Day.

The Mahakumbh Abhishekam festival was celebrated with gusto at the Hindu Temple in Louisville from August 27 to September 3. After the celebration, Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg issued an official proclamation declaring September 3 to be celebrated as Sanatan Dharma Day. Deputy Mayor Barbara Sexton Smith read the official proclamation. President of Rishikesh-based Parmarth Niketan Chidanand Saraswati, Art of Living pioneer Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and spiritual guru Bhagwati Saraswati, who went from India, along with Lieutenant Governor of Kentucky Jacqueline Coleman, Deputy Chief of Staff Keisha Dorsey also participated in this program. A large number of Hindu followers took part in religious, cultural and spiritual events.
