Taiwan’s Defense Ministry said on Saturday that China has sent dozens of aircraft and ships to the island, days after the US approved a $500 million arms sale to Taiwan.

Beijing. The war between Taiwan and China is not today’s but a very old one. Taiwan has been struggling for a long time to become independent from China’s interference. Half of the world considers Taiwan as an independent country but China tells it as its part. China gets very angry about Taiwan when America’s interference in Taiwan increases. Recently, there was an arms deal between the US and Taiwan, due to which China once again flared up on Taiwan. Taiwan’s Defense Ministry said on the morning of August 26 that in the past 24 hours, it has detected 20 Chinese Air Force aircraft entering the island’s air defense zone, including a combat drone flown over Taiwan’s Pacific east coast is included.

Taiwan’s Defense Ministry said on Saturday that China has sent dozens of aircraft and ships to the island, days after the US approved a $500 million arms sale to Taiwan. In a 24-hour period between 6 am on Friday and 6 am on Saturday, the Defense Ministry said in a statement that 32 aircraft of the People’s Liberation Army and nine ships of the Navy were sighted.

Taiwan’s military reported that 20 of these aircraft crossed the center line of the Taiwan Strait or entered Taiwan’s air defense zone, and Taiwan also deployed its aircraft, ships and missiles in response. China considers self-ruled Taiwan a rebel province. Also last year, China increased military exercises around the island in response to Taiwan’s political activities.

Not only this, even after Taiwan’s Vice President stopped in the US on his way to Paraguay last week, the Chinese military started military drills around the island as a ‘stern warning’. Chinese Defense Ministry spokesman Zhang Xiaogang said on Friday that China opposes this approval of arms sales and it is interference in China’s internal affairs.
