Appointed 13 distributors in Africa

He said that Ashok Leyland has appointed 13 distributors in the African markets in the last 16 months, some of whom have their own assembly plants. He said that we are constantly busy searching for new markets. On the services provided by the company, Ashok Leyland’s Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shenu Aggarwal said that the country’s first hydrogen fuel bus developed by the company will be on the roads by December.

Ashok Leyland to develop hydrogen fuel bus

Regarding developing hydrogen fuel bus for public sector NTPC, he said that this will be the first hydrogen fuel bus in the country. This will be for the Leh-Ladakh region. Due to the high altitude, some testing will be done on it and perhaps by the beginning of December we can supply a hydrogen fueled bus to NTPC.

Ashok Leyland will launch alternative fuel models in the next three-five years

On the other hand, there is news that major commercial vehicle manufacturer Ashok Leyland is planning to launch all its products with alternative fuel in the next three to five years. The company, the flagship of the Hinduja Group and the country’s second largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, plans to expand its business in the international market as well. Speaking to PTI on the sidelines of the launch of its latest range of light electric commercial vehicles, Hinduja said that apart from electric and CNG segments, the company plans to launch vehicles running on all types of alternative fuels like hydrogen, ethanol etc. She is making. He said that the company is also planning to expand its global business by entering more markets internationally.
