Bharat Electronics Limited bags orders worth Rs 3,289 crore


These contracts include Low Level Lightweight Radar, Sonar, IFF System, Satcom System, EO/IR Payload, TRM/DTRM, Jammer, Encryptor, Data Link System, Fire Control System, Radar for Directed Energy System, Semi Rugged Telephone Exchange, Software Defined Radio is engaged in the supply of various types of radios, electronic voting machines, AMCs and spares.

Bangalore. Defense Navratna company Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has received new defense and non-defense orders worth Rs 3,289 crore in July and August 2023 (so far). The company said in a statement that these contracts are for low level lightweight radar, sonar, IFF system, satcom system, EO/IR payload, TRM/DTRM, jammer, encryptor, data link system, fire control system, radar for directed energy system, Semi Rugged Telephone Exchanges, Software Defined Radios and various types of Radios, Electronic Voting Machines, AMCs and for the supply of spares.

These include the Rs 1,075 crore contract won on Friday from Hindustan Shipyard Limited for supply of CMS, communication systems, EW systems and other sensors for fleet support vessels, BEL said in a statement. The company said, “These orders are in addition to orders worth Rs 8,091 crore already received. With this, BEL has received orders worth Rs 11,380 crore so far in FY 2023-24.
