Airtel Payment Bank: Bharti Airtel’s payment banking service Airtel Payment Bank is preparing to expand its banking centers as well as increase the scope of services this year in view of the increasing demand. Airtel Payments Bank Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Anubrata Biswas has said that the company aims to increase the number of customers and average receipt per customer. He said that Airtel Payments Bank will also bring physical debit cards for rural customers in the second quarter of the current financial year (July-September, 2023). It has already been introduced in the urban market.

Growth up to 40 percent every year

The CEO of Airtel Payments Bank said, “At this time there is a good demand, so our main focus is on consumer choice, sustainable model and cost. The opportunities are limitless as long as we remain focused on solving the needs and problems of our customers. Airtel Payment Bank has registered a growth of 35-40 percent on an annual basis from mid-2018 to mid-2023. In a conversation with Bhasha, he said that right now our average earning per customer (ARPU) is very low. With the increase in the reach of our products, our ARPU will also increase.
