Dubai, . The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the venues for the much-awaited 2024 Men’s T20 World Cup to be hosted by the United States and West Indies. The tournament will be hosted by Dallas, Florida and New York.

ICC CEO Geoff Allardyce said, “We are delighted to announce three venues in the United States will host the biggest-ever ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, with 20 teams competing for the trophy. United States The US is a strategically important venue and these venues give us the opportunity to make our mark in the world’s biggest tournament.”

Ireland, Scotland and Papua New Guinea have secured their places for the tournament through regional qualifiers, with qualifying competitions for the Americas (one place), Asia (two places) and Africa (two places) to be held in the near future. .

The 2024 Men’s T20 World Cup will be jointly hosted by the West Indies and the United States. For the first round, 20 teams will be divided into four groups of five each. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super Eight stage.

In the Super Eights, teams will be divided into two groups of four each, with the top two teams from the two groups advancing to the semi-finals. Along with hosts West Indies and the United States, Australia, defending champions England, India, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh have already qualified for the competition.
