The Department of Public Enterprises (DPE), under the Ministry of Finance, has revised the DA of CPSE executives and non-federal supervisors of Board level rank or below, following the IDA pattern of 1992 pay scales. In an office memorandum, the Department of Public Enterprises has talked about making changes in the DA of such employees.

The new rates will be applicable from 1 July 2023

The revised rates of DA will be applicable from July 1, 2023. For basic pay up to Rs 3,500 per month, DA will be 701.9 per cent of pay with effect from July 1, 2023, subject to a minimum of Rs 15,428. Employees with a basic pay between Rs 3,501 and Rs 6,500 per month will get a minimum of Rs 24,567 and DA of 526.4 per cent of pay from July 1, 2023. The DA for employees with a basic pay of Rs 6,500 to Rs 9,500 will be 421.1 per cent. And the minimum will be Rs 34,216.

DA will be revised every three months.

On behalf of the DA department, it was said that on the basis of price increase over the quarterly index average 1099 (1960 = 100), DA installments will be payable from January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1 every year. Are. All Administrative Ministries/Departments of Government of India are asked to bring the above to the notice of the CPSEs under their administrative control for necessary action at their end.

Revised rates of DA The new DA scheme has been mentioned in the Office Memorandum at Annexure-III of DPE’s OM dated 25.06.1999. It shows the rates of DA payable to Board level and below Board level officers and non-union supervisors of CPSEs. The rate of DA payable with effect from 1 July 2023 for CPSE officers and non-federal supervisors is 416 per cent.
