Dell Inspiron 14 5430 Review: If you are going to buy a laptop then just wait! Today we are telling you about Dell Inspiron 14 5430. We have used this laptop for about 2 weeks and how has been the experience with its performance, we will tell you in our detailed review. Before knowing the overall performance, it is important to know what is its cost. We have got the i7 variant of this laptop and it can be bought for Rs.84,489. Let’s know the overall performance of Dell Inspiron 14 5430.

Design of Dell Inspiron 14 5430:
It is better if the laptop is easy to carry. It can be easily carried anywhere. Its weight is 1.5 kg. It looks quite classy in Platinium Silver colour. The experience of using it in the office was good. One good thing in its design is that when its screen is opened, the keyboard turns slightly upwards, due to which the ventilation from the bottom of the laptop is done properly and the laptop does not overheat. Talking about ports, it includes 1 HDMI port, 1 Intel Thunderbolt, 2 USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, 1 SD card reader, and 1 universal audio jack. With this, you can easily connect any of your devices to the laptop.

Talking about the keyboard, I found it quite easy. My job is to write almost all day, so I did not face any problem in setting my hands on it. Its keypad is normal and there is no problem like accidental touch while typing. There is another specialty in its keyboard. Backlit facility has been provided in it. If you are working at night, you can increase the backlighting up to two levels, for which the F5 key can be used. The camera is given above its display with which the manual shutter is present. You can turn it off as per your wish. With this you will not be afraid that someone is keeping an eye on you. Overall I liked its design.

Display:
The role of the display in a laptop is also very important. It has a 14-inch display that comes with an FHD+ anti-glare non-touch panel. Its aspect ratio is 16:10 and the pixel resolution is 1920 x 1200. It comes with ComfortView support. First of all let’s talk about everyday work. Whatever work you do on it, be it painting or typing or social media browsing, the colors will be good. I did not have any complaint with the colors of this laptop. Talking about video quality, I have seen more YouTube videos. The video quality of this laptop was very good. The colors and detailing of the video were quite amazing. If you are watching a video with good resolution then there will be no complaint with the quality.

Talking about the webcam, it is a 1080p @ 30fps FHD camera. Its quality is also fine. Video calling is done well. Dual-array microphones have been provided in it, due to which the sound is also fine and you can easily talk on video calling sitting anywhere.

Performance:
The 13th Gen Intel Core i7 processor has been given in this laptop. Also, clock speed up to 10 cores and 5 GHz has been given. 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB SSD have been given. For about two weeks, I have done all the office work on this laptop. The laptop ran continuously for about 9 hours. Used 20 to 25 tabs simultaneously on Chrome and Photoshop simultaneously. During this, there was no hang issue of any kind. Multitasking is very smooth. Coming to any point, I did not have any problem with the performance of the laptop. This laptop is very smooth and fast. The advantage of having a 512 SSD is that the laptop does not even take time to turn on.

It has Intel Iris Xe graphics card. Through this gaming becomes very smooth. Not too many but definitely played some games. During this, the gaming experience has been very good. However, gaming on high graphics will not be satisfactory. If gaming is to be done and the experience is good, then low or medium settings have to be used. It works on Windows 11.

Audio:
There are two speakers at the bottom of the laptop that support Waves MaxxAudio Pro. This makes the experience of audio very powerful. The audio experience was better while watching videos. On the other hand, if you are fond of listening to podcasts, then you will also like its audio.

Battery:
It has integrated 4 cell 54 Wh battery. It comes with 65W AC adapter. By the way, I like to work mostly by charging and I think people also use most of the laptops by charging. But many times during the review, I used it after full charge. During this, this laptop ran for 6 to 7 hours without a charger. It took about 2 hours to get fully charged. In terms of battery backup, this laptop deserves a thumbs up.

Our Verdict:

The performance of this laptop, which comes in less than 85 thousand rupees, is very strong. Your day to day tasks, casual gaming, videos, etc. can be done comfortably on this laptop. It is very strong in terms of battery backup. In terms of performance, it is A-one. But the price is a bit high. If its price was a little less and it could be called a win-win deal. But if you want a laptop that has everything good from performance to display and battery, then this laptop may suit you.
