Elon Musk’s company Neuralink is working on implanting a computer chip in the human brain so that the human brain can be operated by the machine. Last month, Musk’s company Neuralink was approved for clinical trials by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Now the news is coming out that the company can complete the first human trial by the end of this year.
Company co-founder Elon Musk said during an event that human trials will start by the end of this year. However, he did not tell how many people it would be used in and how long it would last.
If Musk’s company gets success in this then it will be a big achievement. This experiment will benefit those people who are suffering from paralysis, blindness, memory loss and neuro related diseases. At present, even if this trial is successful, it will take more than a decade for Musk’s company to get its commercial license and only after that they will be able to implant the computer chip in the human brain.
