Bad news is coming out from the entertainment world. Famous story-screenplay, dialogue writer and director actor Prayag Raj has passed away. Prayagraj has written scripts and dialogues for almost all the films made by Manmohan Desai starring Amitabh Bachchan. People also knew Prayag Raj by the name Yahoo. He gave voice in the song of the film ‘Junglee’ in the 60s and made the word Yahoo popular. The reason for the death of Prayag Raj has not been revealed yet. But his family said that the director’s last rites will be performed at Shivaji Park cremation ground on Sunday. Prayag Raj not only wrote films but also acted. He was a director who worked with superstars from Amitabh Bachchan to Rajinikanth. Apart from writing and directing, he also had the experience of writing and composing songs in his career.

Prayag Raj started his career as a dialogue writer with Phool Bane Angaare in 1963 and went on to write films such as Jhuk Gaya Aasman (1968), Bhai Ho To Aisa (1972), Roti (1974), and Dharam Karam (1975). Wrote dialogues for. His career breakthrough came with the 1977 multi-starrer film Amar Akbar Anthony, which marked his debut in screenplays for films, which was a commercial and critical hit. Prayagraj also wrote the scripts of Manmohan Desai’s films Coolie, Mard, Naseeb. All these films hold a unique place in the history of Hindi cinema.

Additionally, in his career spanning over three decades, he has starred in films like Parvarish (1977), Dharam Veer (1977), Suhaag (1979), Naseeb (1981), Coolie (1983), Mard (1985), Ganga Jamuna Saraswati (1988) and Worked on writing the script of Ajooba (1991). His other projects include Gurudev (1993) which was directed by Vinod Mehra but he died before the film was completed and Deewana Mastana (1997).
