Fatwa against Imam Umer – uttamhindu.com

Dr. Imam Umer Ahmed Ilyasi, head of the All India Imam Organization, says that he started receiving calls threatening my life from the evening of January 22. The only fault of the Imam is that he had attended the consecration ceremony of Ramlala at the Ram temple in Ayodhya on 22 January. Regarding the threats, Dr. Imam Umer says that those who love me, love the country, will support me. People who hate me should probably go to Pakistan. I have given a message of love, I have not committed any crime. I will not apologize nor resign, they can do whatever they want.

After the threats received by Imam Umer and the issued fatwa, those who are calling for secularism in the country remain silent. Those who raise voice regarding Ganga-Jamuni culture are also silent? Whatever Dr. Imam Umer did was in the interest of the country and to strengthen mutual brotherhood. Those who threaten the Imam and issue fatwa are traitors and are following the same path on which the fundamentalists had walked before the partition of the country.

It is said in Fatwa-e-Rizawia that anyone who is not a Muslim is an infidel. The one who does not consider a Hindu as an infidel is himself an infidel. It has been repeatedly declared in fatwas that a Muslim should neither help nor take part in any ritual or procession of the infidels which has any connection with their religion-e-Batil, even as a spectator. It should not even be seen as such. Not only this; Those persons, who have merely watched a religious procession of Hindus pass by, have been declared by the Ulama to be guilty of sin.

In response to a question asked about making any kind of contribution or participation in Hindu festivals, it has been said that in such religious conferences of infidels and mushriks, in which Kuft and Shirk are celebrated, in which idols are worshiped or respected. Yes, it is haraam to participate. It is Haraam to go to such gatherings just for the sake of entertainment, or to maintain unity with them, or to enhance their pomp, or to do any work that falls within the definition of Kufr, or to contribute to the expenses of such gatherings. . As far as helping merely to make arrangements or to promote peace is concerned, it is permissible to do so – provided that the help is given in such a way that the person helping keeps a good distance from all the worshipers of infidelity, and provided Provided that the purpose of the outing is not to create spectacle or enjoyment and provided that there is no compulsion to participate in joint arrangements. It is haraam to participate in religious processions of Hindus, especially in such processions which involve worship of shirk and idolatry. Marking tilak etc. on the forehead – as is done by well-wishers and organizers of such processions – is always haraam. Rather, the possibility of disbelief remains in doing so. One who does such things becomes fasiq (sinful) and must repent permanently.

It is clear from the above facts that until the Muslim society itself makes efforts to end the hatred towards Hindus, fatwas will continue to be issued and tension and conflict will continue in the country and the world.

Strict action should be taken as per law against those who issued fatwa and threats against Dr. Imam Umer and the security arrangements of Dr. Imam Umer should also be strengthened. This message should also be given clearly that no one is above the law in the country. Legal action will be taken against anyone who goes against the law.
