G20 Global Leaders Ukraine In Final Communique Russia And China Oppose India Biden And Trudeau- Will Ukraine be discussed in G20 America Canada is adamant China Russia is opposing India put pressure

Kyiv: Leaders from all over the world have arrived to attend the G-20 summit chaired by India. Leaders of member countries as well as non-member countries have participated. But the Presidents of Russia and China are not attending. Russian President Putin had called PM Modi and told him that he cannot come to India because he is trapped in the war. But no clear reason came forward from China’s side. Due to the Russia-Ukraine war, it is becoming difficult to reach a consensus on the communique to be adopted in the G-20. There is still uncertainty over whether an agreement will be reached at the end of the summit on Sunday. But India is talking to every side for consent.

US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan appealed to the spirit of the agreement. But China is opposing the inclusion of things related to condemning Russia. China has denied US and UK allegations that it is delaying a deal on a number of issues and said it will cooperate with others to achieve positive results. Russia is continuously alleging that Western countries are pressurizing India to include criticism of the Ukraine attack in the summit communique.

Zelensky not invited to G-20

Earlier, India’s G-20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant had said, ‘Our New Delhi manifesto is almost ready.’ He said that the final decision on this manifesto will be taken by the leaders. Building consensus is very important for India. Because if this does not happen then it will happen for the first time in the history of G-20. At the G-20 summit held in Indonesia last year, Zelensky gave his address through video conferencing. But this time India did not call him.

Will Western countries talk about Ukraine?

The Prime Minister of Canada had expressed disappointment over India not inviting Ukraine. Justin Trudeau released a video of his conversation with Zelensky, in which he said, ‘I am disappointed that Ukraine was not invited to the G-20. But we will definitely keep your words in mind. Chinese newspaper Global Times has said that western countries are continuously trying to break the G-20. G-20 is an economic forum and it is being made the center of geopolitical issues. However, it is also important to note that the Russia-Ukraine war has had a negative impact on the world economy. The prices of crude oil and food items have increased across the world.
