India committed to further broaden strategic partnership with Mongolia: Om Birla

Camp Ulaanbaatar: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla paid a courtesy call on the President of Mongolia, Ukhnagin Hurelsukh on Friday. Birla is currently on a visit to Mongolia and is leading the Indian Parliamentary Delegation. He said that there are wonderful stories of courage, bravery and fearlessness in the history of Mongolia. He said that the history of Mongolia continues to inspire us today. The ties between the two countries have been strengthened by our shared proud heritage of Buddhism.

Lok Sabha Speaker said that India is committed to further strengthen and broaden its strategic partnership with Mongolia. In this regard, Birla mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited Mongolia in the year 2015, due to which the relations between the two countries have been strengthened. Birla expressed happiness that India is a reliable partner in Mongolia’s economic development. In this regard, he said that the oil refinery project in Mongolia is the biggest project undertaken by India abroad which is a symbol of strong partnership between the two countries.
