Seven-time champions India registered a comfortable 63-26 win against Thailand in Group A of the Asian Games men’s Kabaddi competition here on Wednesday. The Indian team, which won the bronze medal in Jakarta in 2018, is once again eyeing the Asian Games gold medal.

The Indian team made a great start and took a lead of 37-9 at half-time. India ‘all out’ the Thailand team for the first time within a few minutes in the beginning of the match.

India soon ‘all out’ the Thailand team for the second time. Pramot Sising of Thailand was the last player left and when he went for the raid, the Indian team was ‘all out’ for the third time.

India ‘all out’ Thailand for the fourth time in the second half and took a lead of 53-17. Thailand tried to make a comeback in the second half but India won the match by winning this half 26-17. The Indian men’s team had defeated Bangladesh 55-18 in its first match on Tuesday.
