The SRK starrer has sold over 12 lakh tickets for its opening day in India till 4 pm on Wednesday, which is one of the highest ever. For those unaware, Pathan’s opening day nationwide advance was around 10.50 lakhs.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has been released in theaters across the world. The audience is very excited about the film. Movies are running housefull in many theatres. According to film trade analyst Manobala Vijaybalan, the action film has already earned Rs 51.17 crore worldwide. Directed by Atlee, Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra and Ridhi Dogra in pivotal roles. In fact, Jawan’s opening day collections in India have even surpassed Pathan’s opening day advance booking of 32 crores in the country. The blockbuster film ‘Pathan’ starring Shah Rukh and Deepika Padukone released in January and earned Rs 1000 crore worldwide.

Also, Shahrukh Khan beat ‘Pathan’ with advance booking of 32 crores on the first day in India.” He also informed that Jawan alone has sold 3,91,000 tickets in multiplexes so far. Earlier on Tuesday, there was news that the film has sold more than 7 lakh tickets in India.
