New Delhi. Sales bookings of real estate company Macrotech Developers grew by 17 per cent to Rs 3,350 crore in the first April-June quarter of the current financial year. During this period, the company has added five new plots or pieces of land with a salable potential of Rs 12,000 crore. Macrotech Developers, which sells properties under the Lodha brand, had registered sales bookings of Rs 2,860 crore in the same period a year ago. In the information sent to the stock exchanges, the company said that it has registered the best ever sales booking in the first quarter. This is an increase of 17 percent on an annual basis.

Besides, it has added five new projects with a gross development value (GDV) of Rs 12,000 crore, the company said. The company’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abhishek Lodha said, “Our performance for the first quarter is in line with our expectation of 20 per cent growth in sales bookings in the current financial year.” He said that demand conditions remain strong. and consumers are now looking to buy homes.
