Mahendra Singh Dhoni becomes the brand ambassador of Geomart, will be seen in a 45 second film


New Delhi (Uttam Hindu News): Reliance Retail’s JioMart has appointed Indian cricket icon Mahendra Singh Dhoni as its brand ambassador. With this, JioMart has changed the name of its festive campaign to ‘Jio Utsav, Celebration of India’. This festive campaign sale will start from October 8, 2023.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, popularly known as Mahi among cricket fans, said, “India is known for its vibrant culture, people and festivals, JioMart’s ‘Jio Utsav Campaign’ is a symbol of celebration of India and its people. I am extremely excited to be associated with JioMart and be a part of the shopping journey of millions of Indians.”

Welcoming Dhoni as the brand ambassador, Sandeep Varaganti, CEO, JioMart said, “MS Dhoni is a perfect choice as the brand ambassador, his personality is as credible as JioMart. Dhoni has given the nation many occasions to celebrate, and now customers are getting another opportunity to celebrate at JioMart and ‘shopping’ is an integral part of this celebration.”


From electronics to fashion and beauty to home decor items, lakhs of products are available on JioMart. The JioMart platform features products from Reliance-owned brands including Urban Ladder, Reliance Trends, Reliance Jewels, Hamleys.

Around 1.5 lakh products from more than 1000 artisans are currently being sold on Geomart’s e-commerce platform. As part of the campaign shoot, Geomart CEO Varaganti gifted Dhoni a Madhubani painting made by Bihar artisan Ambika Devi. Dhoni will be seen in a 45-second film as a brand ambassador.
