‘Modi’s family’ – uttamhindu.com – India The News

Speaking at the rally organized by the alliance of opposition parties at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna, Bihar, RJD President Lalu Yadav took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said, ‘What can we do if Narendra Modi does not have his own family? Those who keep boasting about Ram temple are not even true Hindus. In Hindu tradition, a son must shave his head and beard upon the death of his parents. Modi did not do this when his mother died. ,

The above comment made by Lalu Prasad only reflects his frustration. Narendra Modi is a staunch opponent of family politics and always puts his opponents in the dock on the basis of family politics. His feelings towards his mother can be well understood by watching the video related to the meetings he held during his tenure as Chief Minister and Prime Minister, there is no need to say or write anything about this. Like other leaders, he did not give any political position or benefits to his brothers and other relatives. Even today all of them are doing their normal and ordinary work. As far as personal life is concerned, he has given priority to the national interest considering the country as a family.

Addressing a rally in Adilabad, Telangana, he said that 1.4 billion people of the country are his family. Modi said, ‘My India is my family. When I left home in my childhood, I had dreamed that I would live for my countrymen. Prime Minister Modi said that those who have no one also belong to Modi and Modi belongs to them.

After Lalu Prasad Yadav’s dig at Prime Minister Modi for not having ‘his own family’, BJP has started Modi’s family campaign on social media. Under this campaign, many leaders including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda wrote ‘Modi’s family’ in front of their names on their ‘X’ profiles. It is noteworthy that during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP had launched the ‘I am also a Chowkidar’ campaign in response to Congress’s slogan ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’. First, BJP President Nadda made this change in his profile and then Home Minister Shah. After some time, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Ashwini Vaishnav and Anurag Thakur also followed suit and added ‘Modi’s family’ before their names on the ‘X’ profile. BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that he has united the country. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari or Kutch to the North-East, we are moving forward on the path of development by becoming a united force like a family. Like other BJP leaders, Chugh has added ‘Modi ka Parivar’ to his name on social media platforms. Chugh said that the Prime Minister considers the people of the country as her family and the people also consider her as their own, that is why she makes her win with majority again and again.

Whatever the anti-Modi people are saying and doing against Modi reveals two things, firstly the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and secondly the frustration of Modi’s opponents. Looking at the political environment of the country, it is clearly visible that BJP is going to win the Lok Sabha elections under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Modi is going to become the Prime Minister of the country for the third consecutive time like the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru. This is what Congress and its allies are unable to digest and this is also the main reason for their frustration. Both Modi and BJP will benefit from what Lalu Prasad Yadav said.
