Srinagar: Actor Nishant Malkani is all set to star as the lead actor in the upcoming romantic drama Pashmina- Dhaage Mohabbat Ke. He shared that the show is a tribute to late filmmaker Yash Raj Chopra. This show is no less than a cinema. The starcast of the show was present in Srinagar, Kashmir for shooting and promotion. Nishant looked very attractive in olive shirt, white trousers and matching blazer. She completed the look with beige colored loafers.

Talking about the show and his character, Nishant said, ‘My character Raghav Kaul is the complete opposite of Pashmanna Suri. He is a sharp businessman, practical person. But, he does not believe in love. He thinks love is a marketing gimmick. His childhood was spent in difficult circumstances, so he hates love. He said, ‘There are many layers to my character and the transformation is very beautiful. From a practical person he becomes a compassionate person full of empathy, just because he falls in love with Pashmina. He realizes the power of love and is changed.’

He said, ‘I believe that romantic characters are more suitable for me, but this character is not like that. It transforms into a romantic person. You will see the entire journey in pashmina. He further said, ‘This show is a tribute to Yash Raj Chopra. He has made Kashmir very popular. Our show is no less than a film.

Nishant, who is known for his work in Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, Control Room among others, said that he has always aimed to play a variety of characters in his career. Pashmina – Dhaage Mohabbat Ke is set and shot in Kashmir, bringing to life a love story between Pashmina (Eisha Sharma) and Raghav from different walks of life. It will air on Sony SAB from October 25.
