Plane crashes in eastern Utah, America, senator, wife and two children killed


los angeles (Uttam Hindu News): Four people died when a small plane crashed in the US state of Utah on Sunday night. The small plane crashed in a remote area shortly after takeoff from Canyonlands Regional Airport in the city of Moab in eastern Utah, according to the Grand County Sheriff’s Office.

Plane Crash in America: Sadly, North Dakota State Senator Doug Larson, his wife and their two children did not survive the crash, the sheriff’s office said in a statement posted on its Facebook page.

The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed in a statement that the single-engine Piper PA-28 crashed at around 8:20 pm local time on Sunday night. North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum said in a statement Monday afternoon that he is deeply saddened by the heartbreaking deaths of Senator Doug Larson, his wife Amy and their two young sons.

The FAA and the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will investigate the accident and the NTSB will be in charge of the investigation.
