The Prime Minister will be in France on July 13 and 14 at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron. This is the sixth visit of the Prime Minister to France. After arriving tomorrow, Prime Minister Modi will meet French Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne and the President of the French Senate on the same day.

Giving information, Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave for France and UAE tomorrow morning. First he will visit France, PM will reach Paris tomorrow. The Prime Minister will be in France on July 13 and 14 at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron. This is the sixth visit of the Prime Minister to France. After arriving tomorrow, Prime Minister Modi will meet French Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne and the President of the French Senate on the same day.

Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra said the major ceremonial part of the visit would begin on July 14. PM Modi will participate in the French National Day celebrations- Bastille Day. This is a very special gesture extended by France to PM Modi. A large tri-services contingent from India will also participate in the Bastille Day parade.

PM Modi will take part in several meetings during his two-day tour. On July 13, the first day of his tour, PM Modi will address an expatriate event at La Seine Musical.

President Macron will then host PM Modi for a dinner at his official residence at the Elysee Palace.

There will be formal delegation level talks on the second day i.e. 14th July. On the same day, PM Modi will attend the Bastille Day parade as a guest.
