Prime Minister’s Museum –

The name of the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library Society has now been changed to Prime Minister’s Museum by the Central Government. of the central government Opposing this decision, the Congress said that it is an attempt to change history. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge objected that it was a symbol of the petty mentality and dictatorial attitude of the BJP and the RSS. Those who have no history, they have gone to change the history of others. The personality of Nehru, the fearless watchdog of democracy, cannot be diminished by this ill-advised attempt.

Justifying its decision, the central government said that from April 21, 2022, the museum belonging to all the Prime Ministers in Teen Murti Estate has been opened to the public. Now it is not just limited to the first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. The Prime Minister’s Museum showcases the collective journey of democracy in independent India, showcasing the contribution of each Prime Minister to nation building. This museum shows how our Prime Ministers have ensured all round development while pulling the country out of challenges. Rajnath said that the visit of the Prime Ministers is like the colors of the rainbow. The museum and library have been renamed to honor all former prime ministers, just as representation of all colors is essential in making a rainbow beautiful. Hitting back at Kharge’s attack, BJP president JP Nadda said it was a fine example of Congress’s political indigestion. The Congress is not ready to accept the simple fact that there are many leaders, even outside one dynasty, who have contributed to nation building. Congress lacks thinking. BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi taunted that there is so much intolerance in the Congress that it is unable to even see that the contribution of Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi has also been shown in this museum. He said that Congress’ hatred towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi has increased to such an extent that it is unable to see even its own family members. Neeraj Shekhar, son of former Prime Minister Chandrashekhar, said that PM Modi has respected the Prime Ministers by moving away from the party line. This has angered the Congress. That’s a terrible attitude.

Had the opportunity to visit the Prime Minister’s Museum, everything related to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru is preserved there. Their living, sleeping and working rooms and other furnishings are well maintained. In the new grand building that the Central Government has built in the rear of the Nehru Museum, the important events of the life and tenure of all the Prime Ministers before Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been displayed very beautifully. Apart from the facts and material related to the partition of India, the wars of 62, 65 and 71 as well as the Kargil War, the journey of India’s development has also been depicted. Everything is of high quality from the point of view of technology.

The claim that the Central Government is making regarding the decision of the Prime Minister’s Museum is justified. This effort to connect the future generation of India with its past is commendable and equally so. Congress has to understand that except Atal Bihari Vajpayee, all the facts and material related to other former Prime Ministers shown there have been directly or indirectly associated with Congress at one time or the other. Keeping this in mind, it can be said that the efforts that the Congress is making to put the Central Government in the dock are wrong. Everyone should visit the Prime Minister’s Museum because it provides an opportunity to understand the history of the country as well as the development and glorious times of the country.
