Mumbai . Actor Randeep Hooda, known for his work in ‘Sarabjit’, ‘Sultan’, ‘Jannat 2’, ‘Extraction’, ‘Laal Rang’ and ‘Highway’, recently launched a cleanliness drive in Mago village in Arunachal Pradesh.

The actor also spent time with the local people and learned about their culture and urged everyone to keep the mountains clean.

Speaking about it, Randeep said, “My trip to Arunachal Pradesh is amazing and it is one of the cleanest places I have ever been.

During my visit I spent some time with locals and tourists to understand more about this place.

Although I have never seen places as beautiful as Arunachal, there are some parts where we can bring a change by spreading awareness about cleanliness and its importance.”

He said, “I wholeheartedly request everyone to take the initiative to keep their mountains clean for the sake of our environment.”

Randeep also visited the last border post with China, where he met Indian armed forces.

The visit, which coincided with the celebration of Gandhi Jayanti, underlined his respect for the country’s heritage and the sacrifices made by our armed forces.

Talking about the work front, Randeep has received a lot of appreciation for his performances in ‘Inspector Avinash’ and ‘Sergeant’.

The actor has recently completed the shooting of his film ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’, which is his first film as a director, writer and producer and also stars him in the lead role.(IANS)
