Mumbai . While the entire nation was watching the India-Pakistan World Cup match on Saturday, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan talked about the Indian players, calling them capable and said that he does not think pressure affects them.
Captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bowl first against arch-rivals Pakistan in the much-awaited 2023 Men’s ODI World Cup match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. India has a record of 7-0 against Pakistan in the ODI World Cup.
Salman said: Our players are very capable; I don’t think the pressure ever gets to him. Their ability is backed by intensive practice. For them, it’s all about blood, sweat and strategy, so the pressure doesn’t affect them.
Reflecting on how players and actors should be mindful of injury and recovery, the Dabangg actor said: When you are playing matches continuously or shooting scenes one after the other, you have to be fine. There isn’t much time for that to happen, so we need to be extra careful.
He further said, I got injured during the shooting of Ek Tha Tiger; I almost broke my shoulder and had to have surgery. But you can’t let it stop you; you have to keep moving forward.
After recovering from the illness, opener Shubman Gill is also back in India’s playing eleven.
Live streaming of the match is happening on Disney + Hotstar. The telecast is live on Star Sports Network. (IANS)
