Suicide attack near Turkish Parliament, terrorist blows himself up with bomb; two police officers injured

Turkey’s interior minister has confirmed the bombings, saying a suicide bomber detonated an explosive device in front of a ministry building in the Turkish capital, injuring two police officers. The Turkish Interior Ministry has described the attack as a ‘terrorist attack’.

The ministry said that there were two terrorists near the Parliament. One of them was neutralized by security forces while the other possibly blew himself up with a bomb. This attack in Turkey happened just before the start of the Parliament session.

According to local media, the bomb squad team has reached the spot. They are investigating the spot. The bomb squad is inspecting the area. After the terrorist attack near Parliament, the security of the area has been increased. Traffic has also been disrupted. A police team is also busy investigating the area.
