Tata Motors released teaser of Harrier and Safari facelift, booking will start from this day

The updated SUV will come with a new design language. It will look like a curve. The interior of both these SUVs will also be updated by the company. The possibility is also being expressed that Tata Motors may also introduce petrol engines of these two SUVs.

Tata Motors is expected to continue to sell the Harrier and Safari with a Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 168 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque. It comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. There is a possibility that Tata will also introduce its new 1.5-litre petrol engine, which uses direct-injection technology. It generates 168 bhp and peak torque of 280 Nm.

The design of Tata Harrier and Safari will be updated

The updated design language of the Tata Harrier and Safari means that there will be a split headlamp setup up front, with LED daytime running lamps connected via a light bar. The main headlamp housing is new and is now positioned vertically. The grille of the Safari appears much raised compared to the Harrier. This will probably be a major differentiating factor between the two SUVs. There will be a new set of alloy wheels on the sides. At the rear, Tata is expected to keep the same tail lamp setup, but will now have a connected lightbar.

A new steering wheel will also be available in the interior, which has a digital Tata logo. There is a possibility that the manufacturer will bring new infotainment system and digital instrument cluster from Nexon to Harrier and Safari.
