Kiran lost her women’s freestyle 76 kg semi-final match to Jamila Bakbergenova of Kazakhstan by a margin of 2-4 points. She will next fight in the bronze medal match. Bajrang Punia became the fourth Indian wrestler to lose the semi-final match and reach the bronze medal match. He lost his men’s freestyle 65 kg bout to Iran’s Rahman Amouzadkhalili by a margin of 0-8 points.
