Xi’an: Second National Youth Tibetology Symposium Held – Dainik Savera Times

The Second National Youth Tibetology Symposium was held on August 26 at Shaanxi Normal University in Xi’an, the capital of northwest China’s Shaanxi province. More than 80 young scholars from different places of the country including Beijing participated in it. Chen Tsongrong, leader of the Chinese Tibetology Research Center, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, saying that Tibetan scriptures are an important part of Chinese culture.

The young delegates present at the symposium should fulfill their new cultural mission as researchers of Tibetan scriptures in the new era. Should strengthen and improve the research of Tibetan scriptures, promote cultural prosperity in the country, and contribute to building a culturally powerful country.

The current two-day symposium aims to strengthen dialogue and exchange among young scholars in the field of Tibetology and promote the innovation development of Tibetology. The symposium focused on the theme “New Era, New Journey, New Tibet” exchanged and discussed the latest research results of young Tibetan scholars in the field of Tibetology in recent years.
